Hericium erinaceus (also called Lion's mane mushroom, Bear’s Head or Bearded tooth fungus) is an edible mushroom belonging to the tooth fungus group. The lion’s mane mushroom gets its name from its shaggy, mane-like appearance. They are large, white, and covered with hair-like structures called teeth that hang down around the mushroom.
